| TOURIST RESOURCES. Just six km from Mesogheo, the termal baths of Telese terme offer sulfuric waters, marvelous for inhalations and various other treatments. Various equestrian centers offer the possibility of horse riding. Skiing is found about an hours drive away at Campitello Matese and Bocca della Selva. More or less the same distance is the sea, with the beaches of Baia Domitia. Museums at Benevento and Capua. Lovers of archaeology can discover at San Salvatore Telesino the site of ancient Telesia, totally destroyed during the Gothic war, and an hour away by car the ruins of Sepino, important Sannite center. Closer to home, Santa Maria Capua Vetere, antique Capua, authentic Campania metropolis, second only to Rome. A prehistoric park at Pietraroja, site of the finding of the largest dinosaur skeleton in Italy. Nearby, the birthplace of Padre Pio, Pietrelcina. And San Lorenzello, where lively antique market is held every last week end of the month.
